At Canon-McMillan, we are proud of our dynamic music department that resonates with the opportunities for every student. We view music as more than just a subject; it is a pathway to holistic development. Through a mix of classes, live performances and engaging activities, our students get to channel their inner musicians, collaborate in harmony with classmates and nurture abilities that extend beyond music into life's many rhythms. At Canon-McMillan, every tune fosters growth and discovery.
Currently, nearly 200 proud students participate in the marching band in many different facets; whether through instrumental groups, percussions, majorettes, silks, or our Canonettes, our notes can be heard far and wide wherever we play. In addition to the Marching Band, students have the opportunity to participate in Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and Pan & Percussions!
